How to Prep Your Nails

1. Wash your hands to remove oils and push back cuticles.

2. Use a nail file to lightly roughen the surface of your nails.

3. Clean your nails with an alcohol wipe and let them dry.

How to Apply GelliGlam Gel Nail Stickers

1. Choose the right size sticker and peel off the clear protective film.

2. Peel the sticker and gently press it onto your nail, stretching it as needed.

3. Use the wooden cuticle stick in a rolling motion to seal the edges.

4. Trim excess sticker and file down to the length of your natural nails.

5. Cure under a UV/LED light for 60 seconds. For added durability, apply a clear top coat.

How to Remove GelliGlam Gel Nail Stickers

1. Gently lift the stickers off your nails using the wooden cuticle stick provided. For easier removal, apply our GelliGlam Revitalising Cuticle Oil or nail polish remover to loosen the adhesive.

2. Clean your nails with a cotton pad.

If you’re noticing early lifting or your GelliGlam stickers aren’t staying on as long as expected, there could be a few factors affecting their performance. Since GelliGlam is a new nail technology, perfecting the application might require a bit of practice. Here are some common reasons for early lifting:

• Extensions: Were the stickers applied as extensions beyond your natural nail length? GelliGlam is designed for use on natural nails only.

• Water Exposure: Did the stickers come into contact with water within 1–2 hours of application? This can interfere with the curing process.

• Under-Curing: Were they fully cured under a UV lamp until hardened? If you can still indent the stickers, they aren’t fully cured yet.

• Contact with Skin: Are the stickers touching your cuticles or skin? Natural oils can disrupt adhesion and cause lifting.

• Pre-Application Prep: Did you clean your nails with an alcohol wipe and let them dry? Removing oils from the nail bed helps improve adhesion.

• Nail Bed Texture: Did you gently buff your nail beds before application? While not mandatory, it can help the stickers grip better.

• Pressure: Was firm pressure applied around the edges to seal the stickers? This step is crucial for long-lasting wear.

• Sunlight Exposure: Were the stickers exposed to sunlight for more than 5 minutes before application? UV exposure can cause premature curing.

• Trimming and Filing: Did you trim and file excess stickers before curing? Excessive filing after curing can cause lifting.

• Oily Nails: Do you have naturally oily nail beds? Oils can weaken adhesion over time.

With proper nail prep and application, GelliGlam stickers can last up to 2 weeks or longer—sometimes even over a month! I find that I want to change the design by then so I remove with our revitalising cuticle oil and a cuticle stick to gently lift off my nail.

Just be sure to avoid placing them on any skin or cuticles for the best results.
